Microsoft UAG – Service Pack 3 Announced

I was very interested to read that the UAG team have just announced SP3 for UAG 2010. So what are we expected to see in this SP? Service Pack 3 will provide support for:

Windows 8 with Internet Explorer 10 clients, including Direct Access
Office 2013 clients (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Publishing Exchange 2013
Publishing SharePoint 2013
RDP 8.0 client for Windows 7 SP1 (KB 2592687)
Lync Server 2013 will be supported, however Lync Mobility is still not supported via UAG.

Whilst TMG is now EOL at least we see Microsoft still enabling key features in its UAG offering.
