Hi All, I was on a client’s site recently who use System Center 2012 R2 Data Protection Manager to back up to Windows Azure when I came across the following error message:-
SolutionTurns out that backups to Windows Azure are limited to 825GB by default. In order to increase this limit to 1.65TB you need to apply the following hotfix – The hotfixes are available for both System Center 2012 R2 Data Protection Managerand System Center 2012 Data Protection Manager SP1, but you need to ensure that your products are patched with the latest updates, including:– Update Rollup 7 for System Center 2012 Data Protection Manager SP1 – Update Rollup 3 for System Center 2012 R2 Data Protection ManagerHopefully Microsoft will increase this limit even further with their next batch of patches.Hope this helps guys.Neil
