I finally got chance to install the SCCM 2012 R2 version in my lab today to have a play with the new features.All was going well until I hit the pre-requisites checker on the install media which showed a failed, even though I’d installed the relevant software from the WADK (Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit).
I assumed it was an error in the checker itself, but upon further investigation it’s not! SolutionFirstly, uninstall the old version of the WADK for Windows 8 from your serverSecondly, install the new WADK designed for Windows 8.1!
